Analisis Pola Sebaran Mikro Atol Karang Porites di Pulau Badi Kabupaten Pangkajene dan Kepulauan

Karang Porites merupakan jenis karang keras pembentuk mikro atol yang dapat bertahan pada pasang surut ekstrim dan memiliki fungsi fisik untuk melindungi pantai ekologi sebagai media interaksi organisme perairan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui luasan pola sebaran serta berasosiasi. Metode penelitian digunakan adalah metode survei dilakukan dengan mengambil data ekologi, oseanografi, biota terdapat atol. Pengambilan dua stasiun di sebelah Selatan Utara Pulau Badi menggunakan transek kuadrat diletakkan sejajar garis pantai. Kondisi oseanografi sekitar memenuhi baku mutu air laut laut. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa rerata ditemukan satu 0,26 m2 0,42 nilai Indeks Morisita 1 sehingga disimpulkan lokasi tersebar secara acak. identifikasi kedua dominan yaitu Tridacna. Kesimpulan perbedaan namun kesamaan dominan.
